Genius Products just announced the release of Hellbent, scheduled for later in September.

“HellBent” is a terrifying new feature from Joseph Wolf, the co-creator of such horror classics as “Halloween” and “Nightmare on Elm Street.” The film follows four young gay men on the night of the West Hollywood Halloween Carnival, a celebration where flamboyant costumes, beautiful people, drugs, music, dancing and sex are everywhere. Only, on this particular Halloween, a serial killer is on the loose, beheading victims as they cross his path.

The release will feature an anamorphic widescreen transfer of the movie in its 1.78:1 aspect ratio and contain a 5.1 channel Dolby Digital audio track. No extras have been announced for this DVD that will be in stores on September 12 with a $24.96 price tag.
