Harvey Birdman will take the case

The second, and apparently final season of Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law makes a nice little DVD set arriving later this year.

Once a second-rate superhero, Harvey Birdman is now a third-rate lawyer, with bad-knees and a bad-attitude, working at an upscale law firm. It’s not clear whether Harvey ever went to law school, but he definitely knows the lingo and he has a nice suit – even if he still insists on wearing his superhero get-up underneath. Harvey is working like crazy to get ahead, representing animated heavyweights such as Grape Ape, The Jetsons, Droopy and Quickdraw McGraw. Lucky for them, Harvey has vast expertise in fields like copyright law, criminal defense and civil litigation -or at least he can fake it. Season two marks the debut of “Birdgirl” who sets out to prove her superhero litigating skills in the offices of Sebben and Sebben, arriving just in time to assist Harvey in the defense of Morrocco Mole. Featuring Gary Cole as the voice of Harvey Birdman, the series is television’s first and only animated law show to star a winged attorney who’s ready and able to stick his hands deep into the legal briefs of the animated world.

In addition to the 13 episodes, there will be audio commentary for nine episodes, a clothesless animation pass, footage of the live-action Birdman Stripper, a music video, a behind the scenes peek, promos, audio segments and unaired footage.

Look to add this legal piece to your collection on October 10th with a suggested retail price of $29.98.
