Details have arrived on the 1996-1997 season of The Simpsons coming from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.

Like previous sets, all the episodes will be in their original fullscreen with audio in Dolby Digital 5.1. Each episode will contain an audio commentary with various members of the cast and crew. The set will also contain several deleted scenes, promotional spots, alternate language clips, an introduction by Groening, animation showcases, the featurette The Simpson House, a sketch gallery and something called A Bit With The Animators.

The set is scheduled to arrive on August 15th with a suggested retail price of $49.98.
