In a fairly unsusual, if not unprecedented move, MTI Home Video will be taking the adult film Pirates back to the editing room, and toning it down to an R-Rated film for a wider release. Both the R Rated and original adult versions are set for DVD release this summer.

Both DVDs will contain the film in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound along with a making of featurette and a trailer.

The disc arrives on July 11th with a $24.95 suggested retail price. Yarrr.
