The second season of Lost is coming to DVD with with some interesting trends that may affect DVDs in the years to come. The set will be arriving this summer from Buena Vista Home Entertainment.

IN many ways, the upcoming set will be like any good television set including all 23 episodes of the season as well as the interactive documentary Lost Connections, three featurettes, audio commentaries, bloopers and deleted scenes. But in a somewhat new move, the set will also include The Lost Flashbacks which includes unseen footage on the character’s backgrounds. This footage will help fill out the world of Lost in a way that will not be shown on television. An interesting take on an interesting show.

The set arrives on October 3rd, with a suggested retail price of $59.99. Any other info will have to remain a mystery.
