DVD Review is looking for some help

As the high definition formats are launching the workload we have to wrangle here at DVD Review becomes a lot more, of course. In order to manage it all we are now looking for a few good men – or women – to help us get the job done.

In particular we are looking for a real high definition enthusiast for our News section. We need someone who is can spend an hour or two a day, keeping a very close eye on the development in the HD-DVD and Blu-Ray market and keep our readers up to date with these developments in daily news articles. This includes release information for title announcements, hardware announcements and other issues and developments surrounding the high definition formats.

We also need an additional DVD Reviewer to help us cover the wealth of DVD releases. Someone with a good understanding of the filmmaking process as well as the technical implications that digital formats bring with themselves would be our guy.

Exceptional writing skills are essential for both openings, of course, and if you are interested in becoming part of our team, please send respective writing samples with your inquiry. Unfortunately these are not paid positions but we will be able compensate the work with DVDs and furthermore you will be an accredited published writer. Now, how does that sound?

The key to both is that we are looking for dedicated individuals who are reliable and self-starting. If you think you’ve got what it takes, drop us a line at imyourguy@dvdreview.com
