The second season of The Nanny is going to find itself on DVD later this year as a new box set from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

The Nanny: The Complete Second Season finds Fran Fine (Drescher) firmly entrenched in the family, where her often infuriating but always enchanting antics continue to wreak havoc for her boss Maxwell Sheffield (Charles Shaughnessy) and his three children (Nicholle Tom, Benjamin Salisbury, Madeline Zima). Fran’s partners-in-hijinks [often against Maxwell’s obsessive girl Friday C.C. Babcock (Lauren Lane)] include the Sheffield’s butler Niles (Daniel Davis), her mother Sylvia (Renee Taylor), her Grandma Yetta (Ann Morgan Guilbert), and her best friend Val (Rachel Chagall).

Sadly, the set contains the complete season in its original fullscreen, but will carry no supplements whatsoever.

The set will show up on your doorstep on May 2nd with a suggested retail price of $39.95 for the three disc set.
