The Second Season of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe gets underway as BCI releases the 3rd of four box sets later this year. Season 2: Vol. 1 will be quite a box set.

The good folks over at He-Man.org have posted a full set of features on the six disc set which includes the first 33 episodes from the second season in their original fullscreen (taken from PAL masters), two more lengthy documentaries, 2 collectible art cards, storyboard comparisons, three sudio commentaries from Lou Scheimer, Erika Scheimer, Larry DiTillio, Tom Sito, Tom Tataranowicz, and Dave Teague, more character bios, trivia and five scripts accessible from a DVD-ROM.

The set arrives on June 6th. The final volume of the series is expected around Christmas, and hopefully She-Ra and The Secret of the Sword will follow.
