It seemed the recent announcement of the mega-sized Planet of the Apes set would have all the Apes material imaginable, but Twentieth Century Fox thinks otherwise. The film Battle for the Planet of the Apes will in fact be the extended television cut containing six minutes of additional footage. It’s unknown if the theatrical version will be presented as well.
