Dumb And Dumber: Unrated Edition

On New Line Home Entertainment’s release of the unrated version of “Dumb And Dumber” you can also find some additional material, hidden in the depths of the release. Let us tell you how to find them.

On the DVD’s Main Menu highlight the “Special Features” menu entry and then press the “Right” arrow key on your remote control to highlight and easter egg. Press “Enter” now and you will be treated to a clip of Jeff Daniles talking about the toilet scene and how he winged it.

Now enter the “Special Features” section and highlight the “Deleted Scenes” menu entry. Press the “Up” arrow key and then “Enter” to see the Kung Fu Chef talk about the fight scene in the movie. It was an unscripted fight and entirely improvised.

Back on the Main Menu select “Scene Selections” and on the following screen highlight the entry that reads “13.” Now press the “Left” arrow key on your remote control to view a clip of Jeff Daniels and Victoria Rowell talking about the fire stunt scene in the movie and how they set Jeff’s leg on fire and the precautions that were taken.

Now it is time to enter the “Trailers” section of the disc. Highlight the first menu entry and then press the “Left” arrow key on your remote control to highlight the easter egg. Then press the “Enter” key to see Mike Starr talking about the famous, “Most Annoying Sound” scene, which was totally adlibbed as it turns out.

Next, from the DVD’s Main Menu go to the “Set Up” section and highlight the “Dolby Digital EX 5.1” entry. Then press the “Left” arrow key to see an arrow point to a bottle cap appear. Press “Enter” now to see it flip and reveal something.

Now go back to the disc’s Main Menu and go down to highlight the film clip at the bottom of the page. Now press the “Down” arrow key one more time to highlight the entry “Main Menu.” Now press the “Left” arrow key on your remote control and you will see an arrow point to the toilet bowl that has Jeff Daniels head over it. Press “Enter” to see a humorous little dip he takes.
