The ninth Doctor – for those of you keeping track of such things – began life last year when the BBC breathed new life into the 1963-1989 television series Dr. Who. The new series, about to start its second season in the UK has yet to hit U.S. airwaves, but is doing relatively well up in Canada.
Because of the lack of recognition here in the States, a DVD boxset was announced for Canadian Release only. But in a last second move, BBC Video has announced it will release the set in the U.S. on the same day as the Canadian release.
The new set will include all thirteen episodes from the 2005 series of the program along with four hours of deleted scenes.
The set is priced at $99.98 and set to arrive on February 14th.
