For years, the only way to obtain some of the works of David Lynch was through his company Absurda making them difficult to obtain for most collectors. A new deal has been struck with Subversive Cinema to finally create larger releases for Eraserhead and The David Lynch Short Films.

The discs will mirror the content of the previous releases, although Eraserhead will have a new transfer and a 90 minute featurette and trailers. The new DVD releases will be in standard pacakaging and will therefore not include the physical extras of the Absurda releases.

Both discs will arrive on January 10th with a $29.95 suggested retail price.
