On the release of the “Saw: Uncut Edition, ” Lions Gate Home Entertainment has also included some hidden features that are well worth checking out.

Insert the first disc of the DVD set and from the disc’s Main Menu go to “Pieces Of The Puzzle.” On that screen, skip all the way to scenes 19, 20, and 21. Now highlight scene 20 and then press the “Down” arrow key on your remote control to highlight the soap dispenser on the left. Press the “enter” key now and you will see “Saw In 60 Seconds: Take 2,” featuring clips from the movie with chipmunk-like voice-overs for the actors.

Now go back to the Main Menu, and select “Sounds.” On the following screen highlight the “Play Movie” menu option, and then press the “Right” arrow key on your remote control to highlight the chain on the floor. Press “Enter” and it will lead you to a web site which, in turn, will lead you to clues in the highly anticipated sequel, “Saw II.”

From that disc’s Main Menu go to “Sounds” and then select “Audio Commentaries.” There, highlight the “On” menu entry for the first commentary track and then press the “Left” arrow key on your remote control to highlight a faucet. Press “enter” now and you will be treated to “Saw In 60 Seconds: Take 3,” a clip retelling the film using dolls, complete with chipmunk-like voice-overs.

A number of hidden features can be found on the second disc of the DVD set, also. Insert the disc and from its Main Menu select “Dissection.” On the following screen, highlight the “Menu” entry and then press the “Right” arrow key on your remote control, followed by the “Enter” key. You will now have the chance to see a clip called “Billie The Puppet.”

Now go back to the Main Menu and then select the entry “Cut Media.” On the following sub-menu highlight the chain on the wall and then press the “Up” arrow key on your remote control, followed by the “Enter” key. This will take you to another clip, called “Saw In 60 Seconds” all played out with dolls.
