Dead Poets Society heads back to DVD in January

Buena Vista Home Entertainment is preparing a Special Edition of Peter Weir’s fabulous film Dead Poets Society for release in January.

Academy Award(R)-winner Robin Williams delivers a brilliant performance in one of Hollywood’s most compelling and thought-provoking motion pictures. The release will contain a Commentary Track by director Peter Weir and his writing and cinematography team. Also included is “Raw Takes,” a selection of Uncut, Deleted Scenes.

A new Retrospective Featurette on the making of the movie will also be included, featuring new interviews with cast and crew members. Additionally Featurette called “Master Of Sound: Alana Splet” will be included, as well as a Cinematography Master Class.

“Dead Poets Society” is slated for a January 17 release and will carry a low $19.99 price tag.
