First Look Home Entertainment has just unveiled information about the release of Half Light in January, an independent thriller starring Demi Moore in her first film in years.

Moore stars as Rachel Carson, a successful mystery writer whose life is shattered following the accidental drowning of her 5-year old son. Knowing she desperately needs solitude and rest, her best friends rent Rachel a secluded cottage in a Scottish fishing village. But instead of a peaceful retreat, Rachel finds herself caught up in a supernatural murder mystery that rocks the tranquil town and threatens Rachel’s fragile sanity – and her life – in this spooky suspense thriller.

No special features will be included in this direct-to-video release and yet, the release will carry a hefty $26.98 price tag when it will find its way onto retail shelves on January 17.
