July saw the rise of Octavius on ABC. The six part mini-series Emprire is now coming to DVD thanks to Buena Vista Home Entertainment.

In the tradition of “Gladiator” and “Troy, ” EMPIRE is a sweeping epic with a thrilling storyline of politics and intrigue. Beginning with the assassination of Julius Caesar, which sends Rome into chaos, this exciting story is filled with the infinite power, greed, action and lust that defined the Roman Empire.

The set will be sparse for features to accomodate the 6 hour run time, but it will arrive on November 29th.
