Another year with The Gilmore Girls

The Gilmore Girl’s fifth season on the WB – which only ended in May – is heading towards DVD from the good folks at Warner Home Entertainment.

As season five unfolds, both Lorelai and Rory once again enter the emotional rollercoaster of life, captivating fans at every twist and turn. Lorelai’s dream of opening an inn with her best friend and fabulous chef Sookie St. James (Melissa McCarthy) has finally come true. The biggest surprise in her life, however, is that Lorelai’s longstanding friendship with Luke Danes has suddenly turned romantic. For Rory, her second year at Yale begins after she returns home from a European excursion with her grandmother. Throughout the season, Rory becomes more involved in the college newspaper leading her to the intriguing Logan, who comes from the same old-money world as her grandparents. With new loves and life experiences, season five of this humorous drama is sure to entertain audiences young and old, time and time again.

The disc contains audio commentary on You Jump, I Jump, Jack as well as featurettes on the 100th episode and how to talk Gilmore.

On December 13th, the fifth season can be yours. In the mean time, you’ll have to enjoy the sixth season on the old TV. Retail is $59.98.
