Mallrats: 10th Anniversary Edition

On the 10th Anniversary Edition of Kevin Smith’s “Mallrats” the makers of the DVD have also included some additional materials, hidden out of immediate sight.

Insert side A of the release and on the Main Menu press the “Up” arrow key on your remote control to highlight some flames around the Mallrats logo. Press “Enter” now and you will see Kevin Smith revealing what he loves best about directing.

Now go to the “Bonus Features, ” highlight the entry “Outtakes” and press the “Left” arrow key on your remote control. Now press the “Enter” key and you will see Kevin Smith remarking on your Easter Egg hunt.

Now visit the “Languages” section and press the “Right” arrow key twice, followed by the “Enter” key to see a scene of Jason Lee being interviewed by Jason Mewes.

And another one can be found in the “Scene Selections.” Highlight scene 6 and then press the “Down” arrow key on your remote control to highlight the Secret Stash ad. Press “enter” now and you will see Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes playing with Jay & Silent Bob action figures.

Now insert side B of the disc. On the Main Menu highlight the entry “Bonus Features” and then press the “Left” arrow key twice to highlight Silent Bob. Press “Enter” now to access the famous first shot of Jason Mewes dancing, the scene that Kevin Smith warned Mewes to do good or he would be fired by the studio.

Now go to “Select Scene”, highlight scene 14 and then press the “Up” key to highlight “SNIKET” for access to a funny interview called Pearls of Wisdom from Stan Lee.

Now highlight “Mallrats: The Reunion” and then press the “Up” arrow key twice to highlight a large X. Press “Enter” and you will see multiple takes of Jason Lee looking at panties and thinking about his mom.

In the “Languages” section, highlight the entry “Menu” and then press the “Left” arrow key twice to bring up a highlight for Snoochie Boochies. Press the “Enter” key now and you will be treated to mutiple takes of Jason Mewes at the game show screaming “Do it, Doug!”
