America Comes Of Age packs three documentaries in a box

Inecom Entertainment has just informed us that they plan to release a box set with some of the most acclaimed documentaries in October. Called America Comes Of Age the release will contain
three documentaries focusing on 19th century America including Gettysburg and Stories of Valor Public Television Edition narrated by Keith Carradine, Johnstown Flood narrated by Richard Dreyfuss and EXPO – Magic of the White City narrated by Gene Wilder.

“Gettysburg and Stories of Valor Public Television Edition” captures the scenic beauty of the Gettysburg battlefield while narrator Keith Carradine tells personal stories of the heroic men who fought and died there.

Two decades after the Civil War ends, the country witnesses great destruction as the Johnstown Flood claims more than 2,200 lives including 99 entire families. As the waters recede, the country unites to help the victims overcome their losses and rebuild their lives and families. This true story is recreated in “Johnstown Flood.”

“EXPO – Magic of the White City” immerses viewers in one of the world’s biggest extravaganzas and one of the most unforgettable events in American history. Dubbed the “White City,” it inspires future innovators like Henry Ford and Frank Lloyd Wright, debuts the Ferris Wheel and Cracker Jack®, and, in many ways, marks the beginning of the 20th century.

The box set will be in stores on October 4 and carry a $49.95 suggested retail price.
