Dimension Home Video is revisiting the third film in the horror spoof series with the new special edition Scary Movie 3.5.

The unrated version contains new previously unseen footage that – with the rest of the film – takes shots at a crop of block-busters, including irreverent roasts of The Ring, Signs, Matrix Reloaded, Eight Mile, The Others and more, and also skewers pop trends like “American Idol.”

No extras have been set for the DVD release, but it will arrive on September 20th.
