After the successful mini-series was released on DVD some time ago, fans of the show were eagerly awaiting the continuation of the Battlestar Galactica and its search for Earth. Finally, Universal Home Entertainment has announced a release of the entire first season of the show on September 20.

Containing all 13 Episodes from the show’s first season plus the 4-hour Mini-Series, the DVD box set will also contain a selection of Deleted Scenes and a Behind-the-scens Featurette. To round out the release, a Producer and Director’s Commentary will be provided on selected episodes.
