Fremantle Home Entertainment today announced details for one of the most anticipated DVD series of the year – American Idol. The series of DVD releases will include The Best of American Idol, Seasons 1 – 4, which will showcase the greatest performances during the show’s illustrious run and The Worst of American Idol, Seasons, 1-4, covering some of the most memorable and hilarious auditions ever witnessed by the Idol judges. A third limited edition disc set, The Best and Worst of American Idol, Seasons 1-4, is also slated for store shelves… talk about milking the franchise.

“The Best Of American Idol, Seasons 1-4” will give you the chance to re-live your favorite Idol’s first audition, enjoy reaction from the judges and their sometimes stinging commentary and of course the incredible finalist performances! This collection is a must have for “American Idol” fans containing all of the best moments from the show’s four seasons including Performances from winners Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia Barrino and Carrie Underwood as well as your favorite runners up, including Bo Bice and Clay Aiken.
