Additional Hammer Horror releases to bow this fall

Most of the Hammer Films have been released on DVD by now, mostly thanks to studios like Anchor Bay and Warner Home Video. Sadly Universal Home Entertainment had been holding back its movies – until now. The studio has just announced an eight-movie collection called The Hammer Horror Series to be released in September.

Included in the set will be some of the most anticipated movies the studio has produced, such as Brides Of Dracula, The Curse Of The Werewolf, The Phantom Of The Opera, Night Creatures, Paranoiac, Kiss Of The Vampire, Nightmare and The Evil Of Frankenstein.. The release will also feature a collectible packaging, but no extras have been announced leading us to believe that this release will feature only the movies.

I know what I’ll be doing when this DVD set arrives on September 6 with a $29.98 price tag. Do you?
