Jane Fonda double feature

For any Fonda fans out there waiting form Monster in Law to hit, will have some relief in the form of two Fonda hits from the eighties coming to DVD later this summer. The Morning After and Rollover are both on the way.

The Morning After (1986):

Jane Fonda earned her seventh Oscar nomination as Alex, an alcoholic has-been actress cast in the real-life role of Suspect #1 in a murder investigation. Panicked at the thought of facing the police, Alex runs for it…right into the battered convertible of a washed-up former cop. Their uneasy alliance draws them closer to each other and to the startling truth behind the murder.

The DVD contains an audio commentary with Jane Fonda, director Sidney Lumet and producer Bruce Gilbert and a theatrical trailer.

Rollover (1981):

Fonda plays Lee Winters, a former film star who inherits a multi-million dollar company after her corporate magnate husband is murdered. Winters teams up with banking consultant Hubbell Smith in order to find her husband’s killer and survive the world of high stakes international finance.

The disc’s supplements are limited to a theatrical trailer.

Arriving on August 30th, both will be priced at $19.97 when the arrive from Warner Home Entertainment.
