The TV show Lost will make its DVD debut this September courtesy of Buena Vista Home Entertainment. Timed to leverage the season 2 premiere of the show, the entire first season will come to DVD as a 7-disc DVD set with over 8 hours of bonus materials.

“Lost Flashbacks” is a Featurette that will be included on the release, revealing additional secrets from the show’s first season. Also included is “Welcome To Oahu: The Making Of The Pilot,” a featurette that will take you behind the scenes of the show’s first episode. In “The Genesis Of Lost” the series’ creators will discuss how the show came about while “Designing A Disaster” gives you additional insight into the look of “Lost.” The DVD set is rounded out by Commentary Tracks and the original Audition Tapes.

Coming to DVD in a widescreen presentation with 5.1 channel Dolby Digital sound, “Lost” will be in stores on September 6 at a suggested retail price of $59.95.
