After The Sunset

On New Line Home Entertainment’s release of the Brett Ratner movie “After The Sunset” the studio and the director have hidden a wonderful Easter Egg.

From the DVD’s Main Menu go to the “Special Features” section and once there, go to the second screen of these special features. Now highlight the menu entry of “Interview With A Jewel Thief” and then press the “Left” arrow key on your remote control. This will highlight a gem at the top of the screen. Press “enter” now and you will be treated to a very funny practical joke director Brett Ratner played on Pierce Brosnan during the shoot of the movie.

Another Easter Egg can be found on the first page of the “Special Features” section. Go there and highlight the menu entry of the “Before, During and After the Sunset” documentary. Now press the “right” arrow key on your remote control to highlight a gem in the bottom left corner of the screen. Press “Enter” now and you will see a clip of Pierce Brosnan and Salma Hayek during the scene when they talk into the bug they discovered in their house.

Another Easter Egg can be found on the disc if you go to the “Set Up” section, which is accessible form the DVD’s Main Menu. There highlight the menu entry for “Resume Movie” and then press the “Down” arrow key on your remote control. This will highlight another diamond and give you access to a scene in which Brett Ratner explains to viewers what he told Don Cheadle to talk about in one of the scenes.
