Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is bringing to DVD the film that may just be the first Civil War horror flick, Dead Birds.

Set during The Civil War, a group of criminals take refuge in an abandoned plantation house inhabited by the walking dead and ultimately must decide if their fate inside its walls is worse than the one that awaits them on the outside…

Presented in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1, the DVD will carry five deleted scenes, two audio commentaries, a featurette and trailers.

With a $24.96 suggested retail price, the DVD will arrive on February 10th.
