Spider-Man 2: Special Edition

On Sony Picture Home Entertainment’s release of the “Spider-Man 2” Special Edition you can find a few hidden extras, as you may have expected.

Insert the first disc of the DVD set and from the Main Menu go to the “Special Features” section. There select the entry for “Commentaries” and in the following screen highlight the option “Technical Commentaries Off.” Now, press the “Right” arrow key on your remote control followed by the “Up” key. Now press “enter” and you will get to see Sam Raimi’s promo pitch for Japanese audiences.

Now insert the second disc of the DVD set and select the menu entry for the “Making The Amazing” documentary. On the next screen highlight the entry “Play All” and then press the “Up” arrow key on your remote control This will take you to a clip of a practical joke being played on Alfred Molina by some cast member.

Now go to the “Gallery” section of the disc, accessible from the “Special Features” menu. There, highlight the menu entry reading “Proceed” and then press the “Up” arrow key on your remote control. This will highlight a spider and give you access to a clip of Alfred Molina taking a break from an intense scene of portraying Doc Ock.
