David Lynch and DVD are often an odd combination, but MGM is up to the task with a special edition DVD release of Wild at Heart.

If Lula knows one thing in this world, it’s that she’s destined to be with her ex-con boyfriend, Sailor – no matter how many times her mama tries to kill him. But when she and Sailor finally hit the road in a desperate bid to find happiness, their journey plunges them into a disturbing underworld filled with sexual secrets and dangerous desires.

The film is presented in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1. The DVD will contain several featurettes including Dell’s Lunch Counter, Love, Death, Elvis & Oz: The Making-Of Wild At Heart, Specific Spontaneity: Focus On
David Lynch, David Lynch – On The DVD and the original EPK. A photo gallery, trailers and TV Spots round out the disc. No word on whether the DVD will contain chapters.

Coming December 7th, the special edition is priced at $19.98.
