Eagle Rock serves up Meatloaf

VH1 Storytellers: Meatloaf is making its way to DVD thanks to Eagle Rock Entertainment later this year.

Marvin Lee Aday, also known as Meatloaf, was one of the biggest chart acts of the 1970’s who enjoyed a commercial renaissance two decades later. His 1977 album Bat Out of Hell first made him a star. Then, again, in 1993 Bat Out of Hell II brought him renewed fame selling five million albums.

VH1 Storytellers DVD gives the viewer an opportunity to experience Meatloaf as never before. In a stripped-down, intimate setting, Meatloaf shares the stories and inspirations behind his classic songs, including “Paradise By the Dashboard Light,” “Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad,” and “You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth.” This special performance features an extra 53 minutes of footage that was not shown when the show aired, as well as liner notes, biographies of the band and web links.

The disc arrives on November 16th with a suggested retail price of $14.95.
