Showtime’s popular lesbian series The L Word is already gearing up for DVD. The first season arrives next month.

Bette Porter and Tina Kennard have been a couple for seven years and want to start a family, while their next-door neighbor, Tim, is getting ready for his girlfriend, Jenny, to move in. Soon, after mixing with Bette and Tina’s circle of lesbian friends, Jenny learns that her Midwest background may not have prepared her for what she will soon learn about life, lust and love in Los Angeles.

The 5 disc collectors edition boasts the hour and a half long pilot episode and 12 additional hours. The fifth disc is home to special features such as a puppet show created by the cast; the featrettes Fashion Extra!, Wardrobe Closet and The L Word Defined plus a sneak peek of Season 2.

The season lands soon on November 9th and carries a suggested retail price of $69.99.
