Rainbow Brite turns twenty this year, and to celebrate, Warner Home Video is releasing the feature film Rainbow Brite & The Star Stealer for the first time on DVD.

After years of conquering dark and spreading the magic of color and joy, the world is doomed at the hand of the Dark Princess who has stolen Spectra, the universe’s sole source of light. Without Spectra, all will be plunged into gloom and dreariness – unless Rainbow Brite and her friends, heroic space boy Krys, sprightly Twink and magical horse Starlite, can use their magic and glee to defeat the princess in this fantastic adventure.

The DVD won’t contain any extras, but will arrive on November 2nd, with a suggested retail price of $19.97.
