More great news for Martin Scorsese fans

Now that the Warner Home Video Scorsese collection is on the shelves, MGM Home Entertainment is adding its own box set with two new releases. The new set will include the previously released Boxcar Bertha and The Last Waltz along with the newly released New York, New York and a new special edition Raging Bull.

New York, New York will be presented in widescreen and will carry an audio commentary by Scorsese, deleted scenes, a photo gallery and theatrical trailers.

Raging Bull will be anamorphic widescreen with a Dolby Digital 5.1. The two disc set contains an audio commentary with Scorsese and editor Thelma Schoonmaker, plus a second commentary, the featuretess “Before the Fight: Writing and Casting,” “INside the Ring,” “After the Fight” and “The Bronx Bull”, the shorts “LaMotta Defends Title” and “De Niro vs. La Motta” and a theatrical trailer. A collectable booklet is also included.

New York, New York is priced at $19.95 while Raging Bull is $29.95. The box set will be $69.95. All will be released on December 14th.
