Stephen King Presents Kingdom Hospital debuts on DVD from Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment in October.
Dr. Hook is a brilliant surgeon who lives in the hospital basement. Mrs. Druse is a hypochondriac with unusual psychic abilities. The hospital’s strange staff – which also includes a nearly blind security guard and a nurse who regularly faints at the sight of blood – begin to hear the tortured voice of a little girl crying in the halls and a paraplegic miraculously recovers, the doctors are dismissive of any suggestion of mysticism or unseen powers. However, they are forced to question their beliefs as the hospital’s atmosphere changes from eccentric to menacing and the characters find their lives truly at risk.

The series is vailable in a four-disc set which includes 13 episodes totaling 15 hours, a filmmakers’ commentary, four new featurettes and new interviews with Mr. King.
The doctor’s bill comes to $49.95 and will arrive of October 12th.
