MGM Home Entertainment is ready to release the original filmed adaptation of Great Expectations later this year.

Academy Award winner John Mills heads Alec Guinness, Martita Hunt
and Jean Simmons, in David Lean’s adaptation of Charles Dickens’ landmark novel.

The DVD is in its original black and white fullscreen and mono. No extras have yet been announced.

Arriving on September 7th, the DVD has a $14.95 suggested retail price.
