Disaster is coming The Day After Tomorrow

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is getting ready to release the action film The Day After Tomorrow on DVD this fall

When global warming triggers theion set of a new Ice Age, tornadoes flatten Los Angeles, a tidal wave engulfs New York City and the entire Northern Hemisphere begins to freeze solid. Now, climatologist Jack Hall, his son Sam and a small band of survivors must ride out the growing superstorm and stay alive in the face of an enemy more powerful and relentless than any they’ve ever encountered: Mother Nature!

The DVD is available in both anamorphic widescreen and fullscreen with audio in Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1. Extras include two audio commentaries, the first with director Roland Emmerich and producer Mark Gordon and the second with writer Jeffrey Nachmanoff, cinematographer Ueli Steiger, editor David Brenner and production designer Barry Chusid, deleted scenes an audio demo and DVD ROM content.

The DVD is set to arrive on October 5th with a suggested retail price of $29.99.
