ER: The Complete First Season

On the first season DVD box set of the emergency room drama “ER” Warner Home Video has hidden a small tidbit for all of the show’s fans.

Insert the fourth disc of the set in your player and on the Main Menu select the “Special Features” menu entry. On the following screen press the “Right” arrow key on your remote control and Carter’s pocket will be highlighted. Now press the “Enter” key and you’ll see a clip of George Clooney and Noah Wylie’s in-character appearance on “Friends.”

Another hidden feature can be found on this disc. Go to the “Behind the Scenes” section of the DVD and there highlight the menu entry “Play All.” Now press the “Left” arrow key on your remote control to highlight the saline that Carter is holding. Press “Enter” now and you will see Noah Wylie and Mandy Patinkin in the Green Room before the Gary Sandling Show.
