On EMI Films’ release of “Duran Duran: Greatest” the studio has added a plethora of hidden features, some of which are quite tricky to find. So, here’s how…

Insert the first DVD of the set and play the track “Girls On Film.” If you select the track again after having watched it, it will now play the long uncensored version of the clip.

Now, go to “Union Of The Snake” and on the next screen press the “Left” arrow key on your remote control. This will bring up an icon giving you access to an alternate version of the track.

Four different versions of “New Moon On Monday” are available also. Once you have played the first default version, the original E.P. Version, if you go in and select the track over again – you will get a different version four times in a row.

You will also have the chance to see the long arena version of “Wild Boys” if you select the track once again after watching it once.

Now, go to “La Galerie De Duran.” When the “Planet Earth” pack shot is enlarged go to the bottom pack shot (Girls on Film) and press the “Left” arrow key on your remote control. This will take you to a new hot spot giving you access to the club version of “Planet Earth.”

Next, select it to enlarge the “Girls On Film” single pack shot, and then go to “Play” and press
the “Enter” key. This will actually play the shorter, censored version of the clip.

Now, highlight the 3rd pack shot down whilst the album pack shot is enlarged and then press the “Right” arrow key to bring up another highlight. Now press “Enter” and you’ll get to see an “A Day In The Life” featurette.

When the next pack shot is being enlarged you can press the “Up” arrow key on your remote control to bring up another highlight. Press “enter” now and you will get to see a clip of Nick and Simon discussing the recording and production of the album “Seven & The Ragged Tiger”

When the “Wild Boys” single sleeve is enlarged press the “Up” arrow key for another highlight. When it appears press “enter” and you will have the chance to watch an interview by Paul Gambaccini with Roger, Andy and Simon about “Wild Boys.”

When the enlarged cover of “A View To A Kill” is on the screen, press the “right” arrow key on your remote control and a new highlight will take you to an interview by Paul Gambaccini with John, Andy about “A View To A Kill.”

It is now time to insert the second disc of the set in your player. Once again go to “Le Galerie De Duran” and while the album cover for “Liberty” is enlarged go to the top single pack shot and press the “Up” arrow key. The highlight that appears will give you the chance to take a look at the Electronic Press Kit (EPK) for the album.

Next, enlarge the cover for “Serious” highlight the “Album” menu entry and then press the “right” arrow key for a multi-angle version of the track “Serious.”

When the cover of “The Wedding Album” is enlarged on the screen highlight the “Next” menu entry and then press the “Down” arrow key on your remote. This will give you access to the TV commercial for the record.

Finally, enlarge the cover for “come Undone” and then highlight the “Play” menu entry. Press the “Left” arrow key now and you will have the chance to view the censored version of the music video of “Come Undone.”
