When Mulan debuted in theaters, DVD was a new beast, and the subsequent home video release was understandably lacking, but now Buena Vista Home Entertainment will release the long awaited special edition of the story.

In addition to an anamorphic widescreen transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1, the disc will include an audio commentary, the documentary “Discovering Mulan”, the featurettes “Mulan’s World” and “Digital Dum Sum”, a new song, an alternate opening to the film, three music videos, a still gallery, theatrical trailers and DVD-ROM content.

The two disc set will retail for $29.95. A gift set will also be available for $49.95. Both will arrive on October 26th.
