The Good, The Bad & The Ugly: Collector’s Edition

On their Collector’s Edition release of “The Good, The Bad & The Ugly,” MGM Home Entertainment has added a few nice extras that are not immediately obvious to the unsuspecting eye.

Insert the second disc of the DVD set and on the Main Menu highlight the menu entry “Leone’s West.” Now press the “Left” arrow key on your remote control to highlight a Sheriff’s badge. Press “Enter” now and you’ll see a brief interview clip with actor Eli Wallach.

Once the interview is over and you’re returned to the menu screen, press the “Left” arrow key on your remote once again. This time the man with no name will be highlighted. Press the “Enter” key and you’ll see a brief interview clip of Clint Eastwood discussing the benefits of eating pasta and drinking wine for lunch.

Once you are returned to the menu screen press the “Down” arrow key on your remote control to highlight a cannon. When you press “Enter” you will get to see another interview clip with Eli Wallach.

Once that interview is over and you’re back on the menu screen, press the “Down” key once again to highlight a few gold coins. Press the “enter” key one final time to see another interview clip with Eli Wallach.
