As movie genres go, Barbarian movies are pretty much limited to four movies. For those with Kull and Conan already on the DVD shelf, you’ll be pleased to hear that Red Sonja will join the fray this summer from Warner Home Entertainment.

Red Sonja is centered on a young woman who, after her family is murdered, becomes a master of the sword to seek revenge on the evil queen responsible for the tragedy that has befallen her.

Sadly the DVD will contain no extra features. The disc will arrive on July 6th with a suggested retail price of $14.97.
