Shout! Factory along with Power Entertainment are ready to launch the new line of DVDs The Breakout Comedy Series. The DVD series will feature stand-up comedic performances from some of the hottest comics teetering on the verge of stardom.

First in line for release from the Breakout Comedy Series are the stand-up stylings of Corey Holcomb, affectionately known as the “Ghetto Dr. Phil.” Holcomb has four “Tonight Show” appearances under his belt, a reoccurring role on the UPN sitcom “Half & Half, ” and will soon dominate the second season of NBC’s television reality show, “Last Comic Standing,” which begins airing June 8th. His set The Problem Is You captures Holcomb at his funniest, in front of a live audience with lots of advice (not necessarily all good) on romance and relationships.

The DVD will feature no special features ot speak of, but will come bundled with a CD of the routine.

Priced at $19.98, the 50 minute set will street on June 15th.
