Spider-Man swings back to DVD

Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment has two new editions of Spider-Man poised to join the existing cluster of Spidey discs on the market.

First up is the Spider-Man: Deluxe Edition. Similar to the initial release, the film comes in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound and will contain two audio commentaries – the first with
Sam Raimi, Kirsten Dunst, Laura Ziskin and Grant Curtis), the second with John Dykstra and members of the visual effects crew, branching web-i-sodes, two music videos, trailers, a text commentary, the HBO special, an E! Entertainment special, the featurettes Director Profile: Sam Raimi and Composer Profile: Danny Elfman, screen tests, costume tests, a gag reel, concept art, a production gallery and DVD-ROM content.

The Spider-Man: Superbit Edition will like most Superbit titles, contain only the film in anamorphic widescreen with audio in Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS.

Both titles will appear on June 1st.
