In America makes its debut

This May Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will release the critically acclaimed In America on DVD.

Written by Jim Sheridan and his daughters based on their actual experience, the story is told through the eyes of an 11-year-old as an Irish immigrant family moves to America. To the children it is a place of magic. To the parents it is an opportunity to start a new life.

The new DVD is graced with both anamorphic widescreen and fullscreen transfers along with an audio commentary, an alternate ending, nine deleted scenes and a featurette.

Retail for the disc will be $27.98 when the disc arrives in America on May 11th.
