Warner Brothers puts The Looney Tunes Back in Action

The attempt to update the Looney Tunes met mixed reactions last year, but the DVD will be filled with surprises. Looney Tunes: Back in Action comes to disc from Warner Brothers Home Video
Yikes! The fate of the human race is in the hands of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, teaming to wreak hilarious comic mayhem in a fast-paced family adventure combining live action (starring Brendan Fraser, Jenna Elfman, Steve Martin and more) with animation (a hilarious cavalcade of Looney Tunes greats). Join the Tunesters as they try to obtain the powerful Blue Monkey gem and stop Acme Corp.’s grab for weirdwide worldwide domination. Connect with your inner Daffy for hare-brained wit and mystery most fowl. For pratfalls and movie in-jokes. For Acme anvils. For more fun than you can catch in just one viewing. The Looneytics are running the asylum. Welcome to their world.

The disc will be presented in anamorphic widescreen. Extras will include additional scenes, the short Whizzard of Ow, alternated endings, DVD-ROM content, the “Behind The Tunes” and “Bang Crash Boom” featurettes and a theatrical trailer.

The disc will hit on March 2nd with a suggested retail price of $27.95.
