Happiness is a Black Gunn

Blaxploitation has never been so vibrant as in the 1972 film Black Gunn. The action will hit DVD this month thanks so Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment.

When a group of revolutionaries rob a Mafia-run gambling operation, nightclub owner
Gunn, who believes financial independence is the path to equality and success, tries to protect his politically radical brother Scotty from the mobsters and the police who come looking for him. But after Scotty is violently murdered by the white gang syndicate, Gunn hits the streets looking for revenge. Chasing down the killer in his white Rolls Royce, Gunn hooks up with his brother’s militant-minded friends and the cops for an explosive showdown with the mob boss and his gang.

As with many Columbia TriStar catalog titles, the disc will be bare bones, but will be presented in anamorphic widescreen.

Arriving on January 20th, the disc will retail for $24.96.
