Following in the footsteps of the Monty Python box set, the fairy tale Labyrinth will be coming with a new DVD and other supplements.

Frustrated with babysitting on yet another weekend night, Sarah, a teenager with an active imagination, summons the goblins from her favorite fairytale book to take her baby stepbrother away. When little Toby actually disappears, Sarah must follow him into the world of the fairy tale to rescue him from the wicked Goblin King. Guarding his castle is The Labyrinth itself, a twisted maze of deception, populated with outrageous characters and unknown dangers. To get through it in time to save Toby, Sarah will have to outwit the King by befriending the very goblins who protect him, in hopes that their loyalty isn’t just another illusion.

In addition to the supplements on the currently released disc, the new release will feature Dolby Digital 5.1 sound, four photo galleries, a poster gallery and storyboards. The set will also contain a limited edition animation cell, rarely seen character sketch cards by Brian Froud and a collector’s edition booklet.

Arriving on February 3rd, the set will retail for $49.95.
