Image plays The Last Game

ESPN dove into filmmaking late last year with the football drama The Last Game. A year later, the film comes to DVD from Image Entertainment.

The true story of Pennsylvania high school football coach Mike Pettine’s final season, The Last Game chronicles his emotionally charged journey to the 1999 state championship. As he prepares his team to win for the third year in a row, Pettine finds himself at the close of his 33-year career facing off against his own son, a coach at a rival high school. The pressures of top-ranked high school athletics, where players are groomed for college and professional careers, pale in comparison to the tension building within the Pettine family.

No features will accompany the film which will arrive on December 30th with a suggested retail price of $19.99.
