Fairly quickly after its theatrical release, Artisan Home Entertainment will release the horror film House Of The Dead in January.
Based on Sega’s popular computer/Arcade-game franchise by the same name, “House of the Dead” is the story of a group of teenagers visiting a rave at a nearby island. But it is deserted when they arrive… that is except for the bloodthirsty zombies that have completely inhabited the island. Their only hope for survival is to win the final battle with whatever weapons they can find in the House of the Dead.
“House of the Dead” will be unleashed onto DVD on January 27 in anamorphic widescreen with a Dolby Digital EX and a 6.1 DTS audio track. The DVD will contain Deleted Scenes, a Featurette called Anatomy of a Zombie as well as a Featurette on the splatter effects in the film. A third Featurette will take a look at how the girls were prepped for the movie.
