We just got notice from Buena Vista Home Entertainment that the next wave of Walt Disney Treasure that was originally scheduled for release this winter has been re-scheduled to be released on May 18, 2003. Buena Vista Home Entertainment cites an overwhelming demand by consumers and retailer orders as the reason for this delay. Given that production pipelines are traditionally crowded before the Holiday season, this explanation does make sense and here’s hoping that the studio will also use the time to maybe add another few bells and whistles to the release in the meanwhile.

So, “On The Front Lines,” “Mickey Mouse In Living Color (Volume Two),” “The Chronological Donald” and “Tomorrowland” are all postponed until May 18, 2003.
